Designed for experienced riders that have been riding for at least two years. You may bring your own motorcycle for this training class. It consists of approximately 3 hours classroom work, 5 hours riding a motorcycle, and a 3-hour online eCourse that must be completed prior to arriving at class. You must pass a skills evaluation test* and written knowledge test to receive a completion certificate. Successful completion of this course is recognized by DPS as your licensing requirement. 

Note: Additional classes will be added to the summer schedule shortly, thanks for your patience. 

Before you register, note these important policies: No refunds are given for late arrivals, if you fail to arrive with appropriate riding gear, if you do not show up for your class, or if you do not pass the course. In the event you need to reschedule a class you have already registered for, you must do so 72 hours prior to the start of class, or you will forfeit your registration fee.

*The skills evaluation test will be administered once. In the event you do not pass, at the discretion of your instructor, a second test may be administered based on skills demonstrated during your class.
